Extending spring cleaning

Spring cleaning of plots is now officially complete. but over 30 containers were placed around town where they received garden waste that residents brought into the containers themselves. The reception was very good this year, as in the past, and due to the given occasion, 10 containers will be allowed to remain standing until Friday.

These are the locations of the containers according to the map:

• 17. Parking at the nearby Ásgard container
• 20. Open area at Krókamýri/Ljósamýri
• 22. Graseyja between Móaflat 12 and 16
• 24. Skolabraut neighborhood station
• 26. The Old Nunnery, Holtsbúð 87
• 27. At the Lundaból kindergarten
• 30. Open area at Høðarbraut/Aftanhæð

The residents' dedication to this effort has always been great. Interestingly, last year, 33 containers were emptied 147 times between May 9th and 22nd.
