Cold water outage in Urriðaholtsstræti 9-15, May 20

Due to waterworks work on the main water supply at Urriðaholtsstræti 9-15, cold water will be closed on Wednesday, May 20th, scheduled to last from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

The area in question can be seen in the attached image.

Residents are asked to make sure that the cold water taps are turned off when leaving home. Also, to remember to carefully turn the water back on, first as close to the cold water inlet as possible to get air out of the pipe that can form during a shutdown like this.
