Results of a residents' assembly on issues of older people presented

The results of a residents' conference on issues concerning older people in Garðabær were discussed at two briefings held in Jónshús and Lambamýri.
A residents' conference on issues of older people in Garðabær was held on Wednesday, March 11th in Sjáland . Registration for the conference went well and resulted in good work.
The residents' assembly gave older people in Garðabær the opportunity to actively participate in shaping the future vision and development of issues affecting older people in the town. Four themes were in the foreground: housing and environment, health and well-being, support and services, and social activity and participation.

Earlier in May, the results of the work were presented to interested parties in both Jónshús and Lambamýri. The presentation was in the hands of Hafdís Huldur from RATA and Lára Kristín from Co-Create, who were responsible for project management and implementation of the conference in March.
Attached are the slides that were shown during the presentations. They provide a summary of the residents' assembly, the results, and suggestions for next steps.
