Three fields – renovation and new artificial turf

Garðabær is requesting bids for the replacement of artificial turf and the final finishing of three fields in the Stjörnun area at Ásgarður, namely Samgsungvallar, Stekkjaflatavallar and the new Flataskólivallar.

The work involves the demolition and disposal by an approved disposal company of the existing artificial turf on Samsung and Stekkjaflata fields, as well as the provision of artificial turf and its installation on the three fields with the associated finishing touches.

The main elements of the work are:

• Demolition, removal and disposal of the existing surface area totaling approximately 15,298 m2
• Samsung Field 76x113 m
• Jumping court 61x110 m
• New artificial turf surface totaling approximately 24,114 m2
• Samsung Field 76x113 m
• Jumping court 61x110 m
• Flat school field 76x116 m

The project deadlines are as follows:
Samsung Stadium: May 15, 2026
Other fields by further agreement.
