Surface markings of streets in Garðabær 2026

This concerns surface markings on the streets of Garðabær for the next three years, with the possibility of an extension of one year. Surface markings will be renewed where they are lacking due to age and/or the onslaught of traffic and weather. Roadway lines, obstacle lines, waiting and stop lines, pedestrian crossings, arrows and speed markings will be marked.

The main quantitative figures are:

• Injection molding: 47,300 m
• Road marking lines: 1250 m² (crosswalks and stop line)
• Road markings: 1700 pcs (triangles, squares and arrows)
• Milling: 70 m²

Completion for construction in 2026 is scheduled for August 21, 2026.
