326 children sang Dr. Gunnar's songs at Garðatorg

Garðatorg was bustling with life when a group of five-year-old children from kindergartens and preschool departments in Garðabær sang in a fantastic concert where Dr. Gunnar's songs were the main focus.
Söngvavor, a participatory project between the kindergartens in Garðabær and the Garðabær Music School, ended with a fun concert at Garðatorg 7. 326 children came together and sang songs by Dr. Gunnar along with a 40-piece orchestra made up of students from the Garðabær Music School.
The project manager was Linda Margrét Sigfúsdóttir, assistant principal of the Garðabær Music School. The conductor was Hannah O'Connor and the choir was directed by Ólafur Schram.
The participating preschools and kindergarten departments have been practicing since January. Earlier in May, a rehearsal was held at the Garðabær Music School, where it became clear what a great job the teachers at the schools have done with the children. The group performed with great distinction and there were many who made their way to the concert, as can be seen in the accompanying photos.
