The spring exhibition at Jónshús runs from May 7–9.

The spring exhibition of social activities for senior citizens will open in Jónshús on Thursday, May 7th.
Senior Citizens' Association in Garðabær and Álftanes opens A magnificent spring exhibition in Jónshús on May 7th and the exhibition runs until May 9th.
The exhibition will showcase the results of the winter's work in the association, and the exhibits are very diverse. Paintings, knitted and crocheted items, and works made of clay, wood, leather, and porcelain will be on display, to name a few.
The formal opening of the exhibition is at 1:00 PM, May 7. Harpa Rós Gísladóttir, chairwoman of the Gardabaer Council of Elders, will give a speech and open the exhibition. Sólveig Valgeirsdóttir, director of the community centers for older people in Gardabaer, will talk about her work. The Gardakórinn, the choir of senior citizens in Gardabaer, will perform a few songs.
