Miðgarður - multi-purpose sports center in Vetrarmýri

Miðgarður has a full-size football pitch and an indoor climbing wall, as well as stretching and warm-up facilities. There are first-class strength and endurance training facilities, as well as changing rooms and toilets. The size of the sports hall is 80x120 meters and about 800 spectators can be accommodated on the sports hall's balcony.

In the side rooms on the south side of the building there are two floors, each about 1500 m² in size, where health-related activities such as physiotherapy, meeting rooms and a restaurant are planned. With the lobby and other support spaces, the area of the building is about 18,200 m².

Everyone is free to use the walkway on the sports hall balcony during opening hours when there are no events with spectators.
