Children's Cultural Festival in Garðabær

The Children's Cultural Festival in Garðabær is held every year, when school groups are invited to participate in education, entertainment and creativity at the Icelandic Design Museum, the Garðabær Library, the Hofsstaðir Historical Park and Garðatorg.

Exhibitions of children's work are set up in the Design Museum and the library, and families are invited to participate on the final day of the festival.

The festival was first held in the spring of 2021, but from 2026 the festival will be held in the fall.
