The customer service center prides itself on being able to answer all inquiries regarding the town's operations and provide excellent service.

Gardabaer Service Center
Garðabær's customer service center is the first point of contact for all areas of the town, where we always strive to resolve the issues of residents and customers.
The service center is responsible for, among other things:
- all general services to residents
- providing information about the town's activities
- information about the situation
Garðabær SMS messaging system
Garðabær sends service notifications via SMS to residents of certain streets and neighborhoods of the town when appropriate. For example, notifications about street cleaning or repairs at the Garðabær Water Company.
Registration in the Garðabær messaging system
We use phone numbers that are registered with addresses at 1819. If your phone number is not registered with 1819, you can register it in our messaging system by sending an email to gardabaer@gardabaer.is, with name, phone number and address.
Service Center
The Garðabær Service Center handles various services and projects for the town and its residents, such as garbage collection, snow removal, street construction, and gardening.
