Driving service for disabled people

The transportation service is for disabled people to get to work, school, rehabilitation, training, leisure activities or to go to the doctor.

Apply for a ride service

To be able to use the disabled transportation service, you must first apply for the service.

Either:

The application must be accompanied by all necessary documents such as a medical certificate or disability diagnosis.

Conditions

You need to meet one or both of these conditions:

  • You have a mobility impairment and use a wheelchair. The mobility impairment must be permanent or have lasted for 3 months or more.
  • You cannot use the bus due to a chronic disability.

How much does a transportation service for disabled people cost?

The price of the driving service is based on the fee for disabled people at Bus bs.

  • One trip: 207 krónur
  • Monthly card: 3,480 krónur
  • Annual pass: 34,800 krónur
  • Student card for those aged 16 and over: 34,800 krónur

Children 11 years old and younger pay nothing. Guests pay the same price as on the bus.

When and where do you drive?

You can get a ride service during the following hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: from 06:30 to 00:00
  • Fridays: from 06:30 to 01:00
  • Saturdays: from 07:30 to 01:00
  • Sundays: from 09:30 to 00:00
  • Holidays and major holidays: from 09:30 to 00:00

Transportation is available in these municipalities: Hafnarfjörður, Garðabær , Kópavogur, Reykjavík, Seltjarnarnes and Mosfellsbær.

Book a trip

You book trips with Pant driving service.

Pant's customer service center is open:

  • Weekdays from 9 to 16
  • Weekends from 10 to 14

If the trip is scheduled for before 9:30 AM, you must make a reservation by 9:30 PM the night before.

Order page

It is safest to book a trip through the order page. You can order there 2 hours in advance when the customer service center is open. When the customer service center is closed, you need to order 4 hours in advance.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is processed.
