Elite

• 8th–10th grade: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 19:30–22:00
• 5th–7th grade: Mondays 5:00 PM–7:00 PM

Open house

At open houses, the Elite's equipment and tools such as billiards, table tennis, darts and game consoles are available for use. On most evenings, a program is offered that the young people themselves design and direct.

Larger events

There are several larger events throughout the year, including: a ski trip, an overnight stay, an annual festival, a ball, spring trips, educational evenings and participation in Community events such as the Landsmót, singing competition, dance competition, Stíl and Samfesting.

These events are always well attended and are organized in collaboration between the social services department, the staff of Elítunn and Álftanesskóli.

Clubs

The goal of club activities is to offer a diverse selection of organized leisure activities in a safe environment. The clubs work on specific interests or themes. We welcome ideas for clubs.

Group work

Group work is offered where the projects are based on the needs of the group. Social skills, communication and behavior are worked on. The goal is to empower young people and break social isolation.

We encourage parents to get in touch if they think group activities might be for their child. Otherwise, the groups are formed in collaboration with the school.
