Garðahraun is a leisure and community center for children in grades 5 to 10 who have disabilities and high support needs.

Ungmennahraun is a specialized leisure service for disabled young people aged 16 to 20 with high support needs.

Sumarhraun
Sumarhraun is a service that is available during the summer for children with special needs in grades 1 to 7 in Garðabær to make it easier for them to participate in summer courses.
The square
The Garðabær Youth Center is located at Garðatorg 1, 2nd floor. It is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Social activities of older people
Garðabær offers a variety of félagsstarf and courses for older people in the town. The goal is to offer fun socializing and health promotion where everyone can find something to their liking.
