Welfare Council

The Welfare Council oversees all social services in the town. The council manages a variety of projects related to the welfare and support of residents, including:

• Child protection projects
• Issues related to financial assistance and support.
• Issues of older people.
• Issues of disabled people.
• Support services.
• The work of the Equality Committee.
