The Town Artist of Garðabær 2022 is singer and children's book author Birgitta Haukdal. The selection was announced at a ceremony in Sveinatunga on Garðatorg on May 25. On the same occasion, Birgitta and her friends in Írafári were presented with a double platinum record for their best-selling album "Allt sem ég sé" and they recorded the song for the occasion.
