On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, a recount of votes from the local elections held last Saturday took place in Garðabær. The classification of all votes was reviewed and every single vote was counted anew. The number of votes was divided between parties in exactly the same way in the recount as in the original count.

The Star Run will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, May 21st, and like last year, the race will start at 4:00 PM. There will be two running routes, a 10 km loop and a 4 km loop.
