Sports and Recreation Council
The Sports and Recreation Council works to support all kinds of félagsstarf in the fields of sports, youth and recreation in the town and is responsible to the town council for projects for that purpose.
Council's tasks
The council is responsible for, among other things, overseeing the operations sports facilities in town, community centers and takes care of the elections Athlete of the Year in Garðabær.
