Construction on raising the seawalls at Álftanes is still in full swing, and in the coming weeks work will be done on raising and improving the seawall at Höfðabraut.

Garðabær and Hjallastefnan have signed an agreement on the priorities for building the Hjallastefna school community in Vífilsstaðir. The agreement was signed at a pleasant outdoor ceremony, in the grove of trees at Hjallastefna Primary School.

A new website for the town of Garðabær has been launched. The website went live on March 24th and will play a key role in providing information and services to residents. The new website opens on the occasion of the town's 50th anniversary.

Registration for Garðabær Kindergarten for the fall will take place on March 25th and 26th. We remind parents to review applications and update as needed by March 23rd, as before, the waiting list will be frozen for up to 30 days to allow applications to be processed.
